11 Predictions That Back to the Future Part II Got Right/Wrong
The Back to the Future movies, like the Matrix movies, started out strong but went downhill fast. The second Back to the Future is fun because of the wild predictions that it had for our future. People still desire the hoverboards and flying cars but I doubt we will ever see them in our lifetime or the Back to the Future II timeline set in 2015.
After a deep thought about flying cars I get a little worried. People in general are not good drivers and when I try to imagine rush-hour at 1,500 feet I get scared. A little fender bender in the sky could be disastrous to those below. Add in sky-rage, talking on cellphones, and old people flying slow and it is going to be a mess.
But Back to the Future II got more wrong than it did right. We still don’t have the hoverboards [see wrong list] but there are a few they got correct [see right list]
