Who Watches the Watchmen?
All of us have been spoiled by technology. The great thing about living in Knoxville is that we are home to Regal Theaters. That means we have a kick-ass theater out in Turkey Creek with an IMAX.
That also means we are spoiled. With the highly anticipated “Watchmen” movie finally making its way to theaters there is no way we would not see it on a regular screen.
The only drawback is that no matter how good the movie may be overall, I still feel that it will be near impossible to live up to the hype and glory of the Alan Moore graphic novel.
I am curious about the younger crowd as well. I wonder how many of them have read the original story or how many of them are expecting a mainstream storyline. It should be interesting tomorrow to see how they react.
